Students on the Quad at night

The services offered by the Office of Student Accountability & Support are developed to maintain a University environment that is conducive to academic success, protects the rights of all members of the University community, provides interventions for the resolution of conflict, and provides opportunities for individual growth and development. We encourage students to use the resources below to familiarize yourself with the standard of conduct, the conduct process, and student rights and responsibilities at the University of Missouri.

Standard of Conduct, Conduct Process, and Sanctions

The Standard of Conduct outlines behaviors and actions for which students, if found responsible, can be issued sanctions ranging from a warning to suspension or expulsion. The purpose of the Standard of Conduct is to maintain a safe campus community, one where students can learn and be successful. For more information regarding the process please read the Conduct Process.

University Policies

The University of Missouri has other policies that students need to be aware of and follow. A list of policies and links to the other offices/departments that handle each policy can be found on the University Policies page.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of all students’ educational records. A signed FERPA form must be submitted by the student to the Office of Student Conduct in order to release information from the student’s disciplinary records.
